WRH Master Curriculum: Facilitator Credentialing and Certification Pathway

HOME PART I PART II PART III PART IV

The “What Really Happened” (WRH) Master Curriculum is a professional, institutional-grade psychoeducational intervention designed for high-fidelity delivery within federal and institutional contexts. To ensure the safety, efficacy, and consistent application of the curriculum, all facilitators must adhere to stringent credentialing and certification standards. This pathway is designed to meet the rigorous requirements of federal agencies, including the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Department of Defense (DoD), Department of Labor (DOL), and the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), ensuring compliance and optimal program outcomes.

1.0 Mandatory Facilitator Prerequisites for Crisis Intervention

To ensure the highest standards of safety and efficacy, facilitators authorized to deliver Session 76: Crisis Package must possess and maintain one of the following qualifications, validated within the preceding 24 months:

While not mandatory, the following qualifications are highly recommended to enhance the facilitator’s capacity for delivering the WRH Master Curriculum, particularly in complex psychoeducational environments:

3.0 WRH Facilitator Credentialing Levels

Capitol Contracts LLC establishes distinct credentialing levels for WRH facilitators, each with specific training requirements and authorized delivery scopes. These levels ensure a progressive mastery of the curriculum and adherence to quality standards.

Credential Level Authorized Sessions Training Requirements Authorized Delivery Scope
Foundation Facilitator 1–26 WRH Level 1 Training (16 hours) Certified for delivery of Part I of the curriculum.
Core Facilitator 1–56 WRH Level 2 Training (40 hours) Certified for delivery of Part I and Part II of the curriculum.
Master Facilitator 1–76 WRH Master Training (80 hours) + Mandatory Prerequisites (Section 1.0) Certified for full curriculum delivery, including the Crisis Package (Session 76).

4.0 Continuous Professional Development and Recertification

To ensure sustained proficiency and adherence to evolving best practices, WRH Master Facilitator status requires ongoing continuous professional development and adherence to recertification protocols. The following annual requirements are mandated:

  1. Clinical Supervision/Peer Review: A minimum of ten (10) hours of documented clinical supervision or structured peer review, focusing on case consultation and fidelity to the WRH framework.
  2. Regulation Grounding Protocol (RGP) Proficiency: Annual verification of demonstrated proficiency in the Regulation Grounding Protocol (RGP), ensuring consistent application of core self-regulation techniques.
  3. Refresher Training: Completion of the annual WRH System Logic Update (4 hours), covering curriculum enhancements, research findings, and federal guideline updates.
  4. Safety Planning Intervention (SPI) Compliance: Annual verification of adherence to the Safety Planning Intervention (SPI) warm handoff pathway, ensuring robust crisis response protocols.

4.1 Recertification Process

Facilitators are required to submit a formal application for recertification every 24 months. Non-compliance with the stipulated annual requirements and the recertification process will result in the immediate suspension of authorization to deliver the Session 76: Crisis Package and other WRH curriculum components. Reinstatement will require completion of all outstanding requirements and a review by the Capitol Contracts LLC Certification Board.

5.0 Institutional Certification and Program Integration

Federal agencies and institutions (e.g., VA, DoD, SAMHSA) are eligible to apply for WRH Certified Provider status. This designation signifies an institution’s commitment to high-fidelity program delivery and robust internal protocols. To achieve this status, institutions must:

  1. Certify Master Facilitators: Ensure a minimum of three (3) personnel achieve WRH Master Facilitator status.
  2. Establish CSRE Escalation Pathway: Implement and document a Comprehensive Suicide Risk Evaluation (CSRE) escalation pathway, integrated with existing institutional crisis response protocols. This pathway must be reviewed and approved by Capitol Contracts LLC to ensure alignment with best practices and federal guidelines.
